eReadia Joins Connexions Consortium as a Founding Member

Huntingtown, MD–September 1, 2009: eReadia LLC announced today that it has joined the Founding Member group of the Connexions Consortium housed at Rice University in Houston, TX. “Joining the Consortium provides us with the network of forward-thinking educators that we believe will lead the way in open source content management and delivery. We are pleased to join the effort,” said a spokesperson for the company.

eReadia is a newly formed LLC with the mission of engineering the transfer of information from current digital formats into formats that allow it to become useful to the owners of ereader devices like the Amazon Kindle and the Sony Reader. eReadia has developed proprietary software that enables users to select and format content from a wide variety of sources, and to manage that content across multiple mobile reading devices.
